To commit to a task and to stay the path focus on the word commit! If you simply remove a C and an M, you have the word omit. In order to achieve you have goal and to be able to commit to your goal you must omit things! Hence the old saying "To get what you've never had you must do something you've never done"
U have to omit!
What must you omit? I am so happy you asked!
- Omit excuses - you set your goal. It is just that ---"your goal." Stop playing the blame game and accept responsibility because it is no one's fault but your own if you don't achieve your goal. Tell yourself daily "If it's to be it's up to me."
- Omit distractions - yes you are probably thinking I found this blog post on social media. I am so happy you did so, but sometimes in order to reach a goal you may have to disappear for a while. So if social media has to go, it must go. Trust me. It will be here waiting for you new and improved by the time you return! Omit distractions and focus on your goal.
- Omit the fear of failure - Let's face it if your are not sometimes failing most likely you are not doing it correctly! Don't feel as if you have to be the best the first go round or an expert. Remember this: "The expert at anything was once a beginner."
- Omit negativity -Negative people will drain you and will make it their job for you to not achieve your goal. Steer clear from them! Surround yourself with positive people that will speak life into you along the way! Also, never forget to self talk aka pep talk yourself daily! Speak to yourself positivity throughout the day
Always omit once you commit and watch your goals come to fruition! When you are backed against the wall remember God has your back!
Isaiah 41:10 reads, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."
So stay steadfast! Ready the mind, set the goal, and go!
